Everybody knows that this my speciality.

 

If the other topics have been of fairly good content then the perspectives and insights here are absolutely like no other.

 

The issue is I do not work for free, have been destroyed and my work stolen and used by others grubby and unqualified fingers for so long now I flatly refuse to write here until I am paid with compensation and what I believe is the value.

 

Someone somewhere needs to write the biggest of cheques and I suggest that person does it very soon.

 

In fact I am not sure I can be bothered with the unhealthy dynamics in the whole industry. You see it is driven by politicians and politics with the politics that have nothing to do with real fundamentals when it should all be about the science which means it is simply wrong. But not just the politics but either side of the fence from the oil and gas to the renewables as in everyone will only speak or talk from the perspective of turkeys voting for Christmas. No one ever talks in a manner that is for the energy industry as a whole and the consumer and end user but simply what they stand for and represent. 

 

People talk about energy like it is again some social school yard project where it needs to be driven by fairness, by social dynamics and communities and everyone needs to be brought along and it all needs to be fair for all. It is energy and you cannot and do not drive a sector by those dynamics you drive it by business for business sake which are the scientific fundamentals that under pin every area.. In the same way that we see disruption everywhere that seems to be driven and not natural whatsoever and the destruction it seems of globalisation and supply chains for self interest gains we are seeing the same in the energy sector. 

As with whoever is dictating the destruction of globalisation, what will be the decrease in choice and the huge increase in cost, the same will be seen in the energy sector. The fact is we have already seen this and it will only continue.

 

Not as a final comment but a message for the just stop oil campaign. To throw a tin of beans over Van Goth's sunflowers is the equivalent of protesting to protect your future by destroying the very essence of what that that future should be about. It demonstrates a total lack of, I am rarely stuck for words but I think the correct answer there is many. That pretty much sums up the whole political stance and hypocrisy but also on both sides of the coin.
