Mathematics is virtually absolute, can be derived from first principles and has almost unshakeable ground in that respect of which it can build its foundations. Data analysis and scientific measurement is the opposite, with the production of data almost a debate and argument over its constant variable nature. The ability to understanding this variable to its completion could actually provide a solution to data measurement that is similar in its confidence to mathematical first principles and deliver the objectives and conclusions that are required. There is no chaos anywhere, only yet to be determined systems, rules and laws, to everything.

Environmental protection and preventing global warming need not be a binary choice between one extreme and another and going back to the Stone Age. Finding real answers to the issues are now the only answer to a problem that will not disappear, with innovation being pushed to the maximum and a true demonstration in both our ability to meet those challenges as in what are we really capable of achieving. It will also be the biggest demonstration in how well the world can work together, the biggest challenge in the history of our time

The fundamental ethical perspective regarding new technology and AI, is not the fear of them taking over the world or destroying us as we have seen in many a scientific movie, although obvious monitoring would be required. Our only probable risk is our very abuse of that power, with the power itself having very little control and ourselves always dictating its direction and with the ability at anytime to remove. A stick can be used as a weapon to hit someone or a walking aid, the choice is always there.

There has to be many more options for us as a species that regard itself as intelligent than simply going back to the Stone Age in our use of fuel or energy to slow down climate change. With innovation being pushed to the maximum what we are really capable of achieving when we are pushed to the brink of disaster will be answered over the next few decades. Future generations will never forgive us if we do indeed destroy the planet and every possible innovation and solution should be explored to support what no doubt will be a multi-faceted answer to the complexity of climate change.
